My thoughts

The Journey together is short

A young lady was traveling in a bus. At the next stop a loud old grumpy lady came and sat next to her. She had lot of bags in her hand and squeezed them into the seat that made the young lady uncomfortable as the old lady kept bumping into her. The people around watching were annoyed with the old lady but the young lady adjusted herself and did not speak up and say anything to the old lady.
One person was surprised and asked the young lady about it. Why are you not saying anything even when you are annoyed? The young lady responded with a smile: Sir, I feel it is not necessary to be rude or argue over something so insignificant, the journey together is so short. I get off at the next stop."

This response deserves some thought and reflection.
Many times we find ourselves arguing over something that is so insignificant. Every time we do, we must remember that our journey is short lived. If each one of us realized that our time here is so short to darken it with unnecessary quarrels, futile arguments, not forgiving others, discontentment and a fault finding attitude, then we are wasting our precious time and energy.

Did someone break your heart? *Practice to be calm and heal, Did someone betray, bully, cheat or humiliate you? *Practice to be still, and forgive. Whatever troubles life brings us, ask yourself, "Is it worth my precious time and energy to waste on it?" "How much time should I spend on it?" Let us not forget that *our time here is short, so let's make the best of it and not waste with some silly and stupid arguments and quarrels.

No one knows the duration of this journey. No one knows when the stop will come. Let us cherish friends and family. Let us be respectful, kind and forgiving to each other. Let us be filled with gratitude and gladness. After all, *Our Journey Together is so Short!*

What Our Clients Are Saying

I like the unique approach of Madhu sai sessions, specially the fact that all his teachings and practices are based on Hindu wisdom. His use of many years of experience not only as a monk but also as an engineer is a great advantage for him that not many therapists have and it helps him understand my struggles from my point of view. His attention to details and great listening skills complete his ability in helping me obtain my physical and spiritual health - Alex
